Installer Technician
Job Location : Indonesia
Scope of Work:
The candicate shall be responsible for field installations of Trident IMSS systems, troubleshooting, maintenance and improvements. This shall require the ability to act as a liaison between engineers, managers, local contractors and the customer; the ability to communicate results of installations, meetings and contacts with the customer in a timely manner while maintaining a consistently high level of installed work products.
Requirements:
Hardware:
Proficiency in the use of basic troubleshooting tools (VOM, oscilloscope, signal generators, etc)
Basic knowledge of electrical systems including safety (grounding, schematics, interference)
Ability to assemble/disassemble systems and subsystems
Mechanical fabrication using common hand and power tools on common materials
Electronic assembly skills to include solder/un-solder, crimping, cable fabrication, wire wrapping, protection and securing.
Computer and electronic systems troubleshooting to board and system level
Software:
Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Products for reporting
Familiar with basic Linux systems (login, log out, command lines and terminals)
Other:
Ability to travel throughout Indonesia
2 years of related experience as installer, technician
Ability to liaise with local population and act as cultural advisor
Ability to climb 30 meters vertical, board and un-board from ships
Ability to properly document and report results of field efforts
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and conversational English
