SYS ADMIN POSITION(Only frm Hyd)
Experience : 2 to3yrs
Below is the Job description of the position. We are looking a candidate with 2 to 3 years of experience in Systems and Network
area.
Major Job duties:
Roles and responsibilities:
-Desktop support / Help desk calls support.
-Hardware & Software Installations.
-Hardware troubleshooting.
-Server Maintenance.
-LAN & WAN Maintenance.
-Antivirus patch updation management.
-Desktop / Laptop Maintenance.
-Servers Maintenance.
-Hardware & Software Inventory Maintenance.
-Software License Management.
Technical Skills required:
-Windows 2003 AD knowledge - DNS, FTP, WINS knowledge.
-Configuring and Maintenance of Network devices like Cisco Routers and Switches, Nortel Contivity.
-Monitoring of WAN links.
-Software and tools installations.
-Remote Maintenance.
-Good understanding of various operating systems API’s. (ioctls, shared memory, memory, I/O subsystem calls, I/O subsystem calls,
-block and character I/O, Volume Manager, FS design, performance testing etc.).
-Exceptional Object Orientation and C++ Skills.
-Good and Prior experience in UML and Design patterns.
-Well conversant with build and software configuration tools.
-Ability conceive, implement and execute test cases.
-Preferably from product development background.
-Strong orientation towards software engineering principles, best practices, methodologies, standards, modeling, tools etc…
-UNIX/Linux/Windows.
