Senior IT Network & Administrator (SNA)

Responsibilities:
-Reporting line to: Sr. Operations Manager
Activities:
-Maintain and administer servers & computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems -software, applications software, and all configurations, following the corporate IT department standards
-Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use
-Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
-Load computer tapes and disks, and install software and printer paper or forms
-Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future
-Configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
-Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in coordination with corporate IT in order to protect data, software, and hardware
-Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement
-Perform routine network start up and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records
-Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
-Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records
-Maintain and administer Mail system and SQL databases
Requirements:
-Minimum experience 3 years as Senior IT Network/Support
-Education background min Bachelor degree in IT or Computer Science
-Language skill: English (Excellent)
-Strong knowledge of LAN WAN/VPN experience is desired (CISCO oriented)
-Experience implementing monitoring and troubleshooting server problems under Windows 2003
-Experience as a DBA with SQL Server 2000/2005 and as an administrator of Exchange 2003
-Strong organization skills and attention to detail, in accordance with established direction and standards
-Strong communication (verbal and written), in English and interpersonal skills, Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the group’s knowledge of and concern for users’ business needs as well as reactive and sensitive to industrial production priorities.
