I set up the warehouse in Muara Enim (KPM). The warehouse was just built up and I set it up.
We were using cardex system at that time. All the materials in the warehouse, even in the open yard will be run into the cardex system. All must be inventoried and categoried. This company

ment. All X-Mas trees, Tools, Bits, Stabilizers, X-Overs, Casing Heads, Spools, Flanges, Bolts and

Chemicals, Mud Materials, Acid, and down hole equipment too.
Purchased big items from overseas and small items from local. Handling transportation such as Trucks, Operation Vihickles, Heavy Equipment (Bull Dozers, Cranes, Forklift, Exavator, Grader).
Also, Fuel for operation, Genset, Engines, other transportation. Onshore drilling activities.

Job Description :
I went to Pusan (Korea) and towed with this rig to Indonesia. This rig was built up in Chang Seng Pho (Pusan – Korea). This rig was at the shipyard and they sent me there for set up the store room on the rig and set up the system. After arrived in Indonesia, this rig was used by ARCO at Java Sea.
I worked along that period as a Materialsman on the rig. The same jobs and systems that I had run were the same systems and capacities that I ever did for other drilling companies too.
Running the adm system, inventory, issues, receiving, loading/offloading from the boats, control min/max order, ordering (MR), Prepare the paperworks and let the rig supt to sign any reports before
sending them to the main office in Jakarta. We used cardex system at that time because they do
not have a computer system. They only used computer in Jakarta office for posting and making re-
ports. Purchased materials (Overseas/Local). Make MR and sent to Jakarta for processed.
All the materialsmen jobs are almost same. Materials handling systems for onshore drilling rigs are
different than offshore drilling rigs, but all based on the types of equipment and materials that need
to support that job. Firstable, we must have knowledges about drilling equipment, genset, type of
engines, and control the min/max in stock. Specially for the critical items. This is important for
the operation. Check the stock level such as : Filters, oil, some of engine parts, wash pipes,
Pump parts (Piston, Piston Rubbers, Seats, Liners, Liner gaskets, Springs, Discharge manifold and
Suction manifold). Clutch for Mud Pump Engines. Control in/out materials to make sure the balance
in stock is not zero balanced. We must have knowledge about running the drilling operation.
Some important items are for electrical parts like : Circuit breakers, and others small items too.

This is land rig. I worked for this company under the operation of Marathon Oil Company.
I worked in Irian Jaya and moved to Jambi (South Sumatra) for Jambi Oil Co. I finished my
contract with Parker because of Parker had finished their contract with Jambi Oil Co. too.
I worked in the warehouse and take care of the warehouse administration since started worked
for Parker until finished contract with Jambi Oil Co.
My jobs are : Purchased local materials, and some were purchased from Houston (USA), inventory,
sendng materials to rig site, control and put all the drill pipes/heavy weight/X-Over subs/spare
manual tongs/ and other spare handling tools at the proper places. Put grease on all threaded items.
Documentation clearance with custom for re-export equipment such as : Engines, some of drilling
equipment, Generators and other items that need to be sent back to the origin points like Singapore or
Houston (USA). We used Helicopter for sending materials. Some big items will be sent by boats
via river.

Job Description :
This drilling company gave me a lot of experiences in handling materials, sending materials to rig site,
posting and inventory, documentation clearance with custom and immigration, loading – offloading materials, and many other jobs that I had learned, were giving me great responsibilities and worked as a good and experienced materialsman at that time. I’m really proud of this because I became a profess-
sional man in doing all logistics jobs because of this good company. I would like to thank you to

Casing and Tubings are parts of the production equipment, and it will be needed if they want to run it into the hole for drilling jobs. Casings are needed to protect the drilling hole from the soil formation, and Tubing will be used if they want to product oil & Gas as production standard capacity, but if dry hole, than they will not running tubings. They will close or plug that hole. Move to other wells.
Many of different production equipment (Down hole equipment will be used for production well, depends on what kind of jobs they are doing and needed to do.). Centralizer for casings, cementing plugs, and more other equipment for production jobs. Also needs Lab Unit for production jobs.

I set up the warehouse in Muara Enim (KPM). The warehouse was just built up and I set it up.
We were using cardex system at that time. All the materials in the warehouse, even in the open yard will be run into the cardex system. All must be inventoried and categoried. This company
had two warehouses. One warehouse for production equipment and the other one for drilling equip-
ment. All X-Mas trees, Tools, Bits, Stabilizers, X-Overs, Casing Heads, Spools, Flanges, Bolts and

Chemicals, Mud Materials, Acid, and down hole equipment too.

I went to Pusan (Korea) and towed with this rig to Indonesia. This rig was built up in Chang Seng Pho (Pusan – Korea). This rig was at the shipyard and they sent me there for set up the store room on the rig and set up the system. After arrived in Indonesia, this rig was used by ARCO at Java Sea.
I worked along that period as a Materialsman on the rig. The same jobs and systems that I had run were the same systems and capacities that I ever did for other drilling companies too.
Running the adm system, inventory, issues, receiving, loading/offloading from the boats, control min/max order, ordering (MR), Prepare the paperworks and let the rig supt to sign any reports before
sending them to the main office in Jakarta. We used cardex system at that time because they do
not have a computer system. They only used computer in Jakarta office for posting and making re-
ports. Purchased materials (Overseas/Local). Make MR and sent to Jakarta for processed.
All the materialsmen jobs are almost same. Materials handling systems for onshore drilling rigs are
different than offshore drilling rigs, but all based on the types of equipment and materials that need
to support that job. Firstable, we must have knowledges about drilling equipment, genset, type of
engines, and control the min/max in stock. Specially for the critical items. This is important for
the operation. Check the stock level such as : Filters, oil, some of engine parts, wash pipes,
Pump parts (Piston, Piston Rubbers, Seats, Liners, Liner gaskets, Springs, Discharge manifold and
Suction manifold). Clutch for Mud Pump Engines. Control in/out materials to make sure the balance
in stock is not zero balanced. We must have knowledge about running the drilling operation.
Some important items are for electrical parts like : Circuit breakers, and others small items too.

This is land rig. I worked for this company under the operation of Marathon Oil Company.
I worked in Irian Jaya and moved to Jambi (South Sumatra) for Jambi Oil Co. I finished my
contract with Parker because of Parker had finished their contract with Jambi Oil Co. too.
I worked in the warehouse and take care of the warehouse administration since started worked
for Parker until finished contract with Jambi Oil Co.
My jobs are : Purchased local materials, and some were purchased from Houston (USA), inventory,
sendng materials to rig site, control and put all the drill pipes/heavy weight/X-Over subs/spare
manual tongs/ and other spare handling tools at the proper places. Put grease on all threaded items.
Documentation clearance with custom for re-export equipment such as : Engines, some of drilling
equipment, Generators and other items that need to be sent back to the origin points like Singapore or
Houston (USA). We used Helicopter for sending materials. Some big items will be sent by boats
via river.

This drilling company gave me a lot of experiences in handling materials, sending materials to rig site,
posting and inventory, documentation clearance with custom and immigration, loading – offloading materials, and many other jobs that I had learned, were giving me great responsibilities and worked as a good and experienced materialsman at that time. I’m really proud of this because I became a profess-
sional man in doing all logistics jobs because of this good company. I would like to thank you to
Robray Drilling Company that since I started worked for this company, I found so many experiences
and good friends that ever helped me to carry out all the difficulties and made me a great man now.

Casing and Tubings are parts of the production equipment, and it will be needed if they want to run it into the hole for drilling jobs. Casings are needed to protect the drilling hole from the soil formation, and Tubing will be used if they want to product oil & Gas as production standard capacity, but if dry hole, than they will not running tubings. They will close or plug that hole. Move to other wells.
Many of different production equipment (Down hole equipment will be used for production well, depends on what kind of jobs they are doing and needed to do.). Centralizer for casings, cementing plugs, and more other equipment for production jobs. Also needs Lab Unit for production jobs.
