PT Meares Soputan Mining is developing the Toka Tindung Gold Project in North Sulawesi. Applicants are invited for the following position :
Manager Community Relations
Duties & Responsibilities :
The manager reports to the Operations Manager ( OM ) and liaises closely with other managers, especially those that are in non-technical roles, to ensure clarity and synchronicity in external affairs approaches. The manager is responsible for leading the department’s staff to achieve measurable indicators of improved community prosperity during and beyond the life of mine ( LoM ). He/She is responsible for the daily operations of the department including tasking personnel and /or monitoring of duties performed by those in the department. He/She has both internal and external relations that are vital to the success of the departments operations. These include : all site level management; corporate management; Board level management; community members as well as government interlocutors at regional and sub district level for coordination of education, health, agricultural and other program area foci.
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Minimum Undergraduate degree
2. 3 years community assistance experience or 10 years experience in humanitarian work and private sector
3. Excellent English & Bahasa speaking.
