The company is well-positioned to meet and exceed its’ customers needs for high quality beauty cosmetics packaging solutions comprises of Make-Up & Accessories and full range of solutions for beauty products. The company has been acknowledged for its technical expertise, innovativeness and high performance.
Our client employs over 2,500 employees in it’s Indonesia manufacturing plant. The company is part of international operations where products are manufactured in Europe, Asia including Indonesia , Latin America and the United States of America . The company has strengthened its global presence and has substantially reinforced its leadership positions in beauty cosmetics packaging. It has enjoyed a tremendous growth, developed good reputation with an image of excellence for customers.
Our client seeks to hire a strong leader who seeks new challenges and able to adapt in a fast- paced manufacturing environment as: Manufacturing Operations Manager
Overall Responsibility. .
The Operations Manager will lead the operations through manufacturing excellence with a strong focus on team management and leadership, to ensure it’s competitive position in order to continue it’s growth trajectory. He should lead and pursue the transformation of the plant through a major Lean manufacturing initiative aimed at enhancing the profitability of the business in an increasingly competitive environment.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Attract and develop local talent, strengthen the teamwork
* Create a good working environment to optimize people mobilization
* Lead by example and understands the business
* Improve the cost structure by effective implementation of Lean principles
* Lead the team in Lean implementation and improve profitability
* Ensure and guarantee the right implementation of Standards (EHS/ Quality/ Manufacturing/ and HR)
* Meet and exceed Manufacturing KPI’s for Quality, Productivity Machine OEE and Waste
* Train people to maintain excellent skills level
* Ensure that “World Class” quality philosophy and processes are employed in all facets of manufacturing aimed at reducing warranty returns from customers
* Provide good level of OTIF (On Time Delivery in Full)
* Maintain and ensure reputation as a reliable quality Supplier
* Employ safe practices that protect the interest of the workers
Requirements & profile of successful candidates:
* Indonesian / Asian, male 40-45 years. With 4-5 years overseas working experience as Operations/ Manufacturing Manager.
* Expatriates, aged 40-45 years, currently working in Indonesia/ prior experience working in Indonesia / Asia in related beauty cosmetics packaging, holding similar position and responsibility.
* At least Bachelor Degree (S-1) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering / Other Science plus MBA/ MM Degree in Management.
* Experience to lead a large number of team working in MNC environment in Indonesia / Asia . International mindset. 15 years manufacturing operations experience. Deep and hands-on MNC experience in all aspects of manufacturing operations: production, quality, logistics/ supply chain. Team Management, Customer Relations, Continuous Improvement. Proven experience in plastics packaging for beauty cosmetics will have clear advantage.
* Individuals with relevant experience with other rigid plastics packaging in Asia , or plastics components / parts for automotive, electronics, plastic based computer printers & peripherals / accessories implementing lean principles & world-class manufacturing philosophy and practices are encouraged to apply.
* Fluency in English, both oral and written is essential. For expatriate, ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
