Our client is the leading pharmaceutical group in Europe and the third-largest group worldwide. Operating on 300 sites in 80 countries world-wide, our client has articulated the need for a dedicated and focused HR DIRECTOR professional to take on this critical role and tackle the related challenges of the post:
Reporting to the President Director, you will be tasked with developing HR strategies and performance management systems that maximize the human capital of the organisation. Specifically, you will build a competency model that provides proactive workforce solutions that grows the talent pool and is aligned to the company strategy. You will lead, facilitate and nurture a performance based culture that values results, customers and open communication. Develop organizational efficiency and effectiveness through HR best practice that promotes a high standard of performance.
Additionally, you will design a robust competency model that serves as a basic for hiring, developing, managing and rewarding employees as well as competitive benefit policies that retain and stabilizes high performance. You will also be required to build and maintain relations with the government officials, unions, and police officials.
A minimum of 6-10 years experience in a senior HR role is required coupled with working experience in a large retailing or consumer
goods organization. You will also have broad knowledge of management issues as well as exposure to international best practice in the HR field.
