Senior IT Supervisor
(Kalimantan Timur - Balikpapan)
Responsibilities:
- Management of MIS function which includes day to day management in systems administration, network traffic, systems security, disaster recovery, system backup and maintenance.
- Assists in implementation and roll out of corporate IT projects to mine sites.
- Ensures organizational infrastructure requirements are met.
- Liaises with IT Manager to ensure the company complies with Group IT Policies, Procedures and Standards.
- Provides weekly and monthly IT report to the IT Manager.
- Provides day to day operation support for Office Automation and computer hardware.
- Liaises with distributors, vendors and contractors on sourcing IT related product.
- Conducts feasibility study on hardware & system sourcing and evaluation.
- Monitors and reviews the performance of the hardware/software applications and provides feedback and enhancements of the system / process.
- Conducts training courses or employees with regards to new systems implementation.
- Documentation of infrastructure setup, system administration and user’s training guide.
Requirements:
- Hold S1 / D3 in Information System.
- Having 5 years experience in similar position.
- Have experiences with Operating System, Network, and Business Application Technology.
- Have experience or understanding of EDI (mapping, translation software and integration).
- Technical aptitude MS SQL 2000/2005 database, server (MS Windows 2000/2003), PCs (MS windows 2000/XP/Vista), TCP/IP Topology, and an understanding of basic communications protocols.
- Able to work as a team work, under pressure and independently with minimum supervision.
- Willing to travel to mine sites.
