NZAID is seeking to appoint a development professional to assist in the delivery of its bilateral development assistance programme to Indonesia. The Indonesia programme focuses on sustainable rural livelihoods, basic education, governance, human rights and peace-building.
The DPC role is primarily required to support and mange contractual relationships with NZAID’s development partners through its various programmes.
The position will work to the NZAID Manager at the NZ Embassy.
The successful applicant will have :
· A University degree in a relevant field
· Extensive knowledge and professional work experience of development work in Indonesia
· Planning, project appraisal and management, and policy analysis skills
· Extensive in the education, rural livelihoods, conflict prevention / peace building or governance sectors.
· An excellent oral and written command of both English and Indonesian
· Recent, relevant work experience in the ODA management team in another Embassy in Jakarta of for a relevant regional or multilateral agency in Indonesia would be an advantage.
